Marble & Quartzite
Marble and quartzites are some of the most beautiful natural stones available. Unlike granite, marbles and quartzites are metamorphic and form when other types of stone (for example limestone or sandstone) are subjected to extreme heat and pressure over a period of millions of years. These stunning and timeless natural stones do require a greater degree of maintenance than other types of stone surface but our showroom team are more than happy to talk through all aspects of maintenance with our clients. The properties of these types of natural stone mean that care should be taken to prevent both staining and etching of the surface when used in a kitchen environment. With the correct care and information there is no reason why these beautiful marbles and quartzites cannot be used and enjoyed in your home.
