Marble
Marble is a beautiful metamorphic rock which forms when limestone is exposed to intense pressure and heat. The fluid veins and patterns characteristically present in many marbles are usually the result of impurities such as clay and sand that are present in the layers of limestone.
Marble is an excellent choice of material for a bathroom or dressing room and adds a unique touch of luxury. Due to its porosity it is not recommended for use on kitchen surfaces where it is likely to come into contact with substances that may cause staining.
